Willis Health & Productivity Survey Report

A full creative direction and report system built from scratch, from theme development through final production.

My Role

Theme & Mood Development

Created three complete visual directions exploring different narratives around wellness, productivity, and performance. Each theme included photography style, palettes, tone, and composition ideas. These moodboards guided the client toward a clear creative direction centered on natural landscapes, calm color environments, and a sense of clarity and flow.

Design System Creation

With flexible Willis branding, I established a tighter design framework for this piece that became the backbone of the entire report, including color palette, typography hierarchy, grid and spacing system, chart/table styling, callouts and typographic elements, and images

Layout & Content Design

Designed the full report from cover to back page including cover and chapter openers, narrative content pages, photography selections, pull quotes and text styles, data presentation and organization. Focused on readability, hierarchy, and a premium tone aligned with the theme selection.

Production Oversight

Worked directly with the overseas production team for all charts, tables, and laying in text. Provided templates, feedback, and QC throughout production to ensure visual consistency and accuracy across spreads.

Client Collaboration

Interfaced directly with the client through reviews, guiding them on theme selection, palette refinements, layout adjustments, and chart revisions. Delivered clean, on-brand work under tight turnarounds.

Production & Delivery

Delivered final assets across both print and digital, including press-ready files, accessible PDFs, social images, and smaller flyer adaptations built from the main report system. Ensured every format stayed consistent with the established visual direction.

Outcome

The final report delivered a polished, cohesive visual identity built from scratch within Willis’s loose brand framework. The moodboards and early direction work created alignment, while the full design system elevated the readability and impact of the content. Client feedback was strong and the internal teams adopted the new system for future surveys and related communications.

This project demonstrates full art direction — from concept and theme development to final production — and showcases my ability to lead creative work while managing cross-team collaboration, data-heavy design, and client relationships.
